Odin's Eye: First Lieutenant

From publisher blurb: The First Lieutenant is the second-in-command aboard the Odin’s Eye. He is the Captain’s most trustworthy ally, maintaining personal relationships with the crew, so the Captain can focus on running the ship. Most of the crew turn to the First Lieutenant when they have problems. As a result, the First Lieutenant has taken a backseat to the glory most of the crew receive — which is why he’s an aging First Lieutenant instead of a captain. In Odin’s Eye, the characters are search and rescue specialists aboard a galaxy-hopping spaceship. They’re dedicated, highly-trained, and often sent into impossibly hostile places. Their motto — “No Star Unturned” — serves as a reminder to never give up, even when the mission could spell their doom.
