THE PREMISE You’ve been experimented on and as a result have gained psychic powers! An unfortunate side effect – the powers are killing you… You’ve decided that before you bite the big one you’re going to clear two items off your bucket list if you can: your biggest wish, and making the person who did this to you pay! THE GAME In Nosebleeders players play a character who is out for revenge whilst also trying to fulfill one last remaining wish. The gameplay will involve negotiating the dangers in seeking to avenge the character (however that may look) while also trying to accomplish one last goal personally important to the character. It’s expected that the game will take place over 3 sessions (called Acts) and that if the character makes it to the end of Act 3 the story will be complete. The game probably plays best with 1 player and a GM, but can support multiplayer gameplay, too. The general setting is modern in nature with some weird science thrown in for good measure. For mood examples, think Stranger Things, Crank, Kill Bill, and Zombieland. This system was built as part of the 2022 24-hour RPG contest.
