The Advanced Options series is here to give you those new options. This installment focuses on providing new bardic colleges characters with levels in the bard class. It presents four new bardic colleges that represent a wide array of different and non-traditional styles of bard. The College of the Discordant Chorus taps into alien and otherworldly music not meant for the ears of mortal man, which drives those that listen to it insane with cosmic horror. The College of Infernal Courts produces bards well-schooled in legal arts, and especially prepares them for the difficulties of dealing in the literal courts of Hell, battling for ownership of souls against devils themselves. The College of the Marshalling Cry is a favorite for bards that want to focus on supporting their allies and empowering them to be the most that they can be.
