Nesciamus Core Rules

Nesciamus is a role-playing game about the Reformation, which can be played without a game master. In the fantastic world of Nesciamus, demons are a real threat and only with the help of the Guardians of Truth is it possible for people to live a normal life. But outside the protective spell circles life is dangerous, and even inside you are not always safe. The Laws of Truth, enacted by the Circle of Twelve, help people avoid demon-promoting behavior. But how do the wanderers, outlaws who must live outside the protection of the guardians, cope? And why is the demon infestation getting steadily worse, despite ever new laws of truth? Perhaps it is time for a change.
