From publisher blurb: "In ages past, when the lands were frozen and covered with snow, there arose from the ice a bear-like creature, which was like no other bear the world had seen. When all other animals were suffering and dying in the cold, this species thrived. Its vibrant colors stood out fiercely upon the ice sheet and seemed to turn even brighter as the temperatures fell."
