Nansen's Nordpolfahrt

One of several roll-and-move games that came out between 1890 and 1910 as the public was enthralled with expeditions to the arctic. The board features illustrations of the trip north, by ship, kayak, dogsled, and skis. The dice rolling journey covers the journey north and the return home. The board is pictured in the book Games We Play.
