In Mycelium, we'll participate on all fundamental stages of a fungus' life cycle. From a small spore floating in the air, to the creation of the first mycelium, which will grow and feed from substrates and, once the environmental conditions are favorable, they'll manifest in the form of mushrooms to restart their cycle. Each player places their spore token on the board and start spreading their mycelia, placing hex tiles through the forest to build a micelial network, to get nutrients from substratum tokens scattered all around, or by making symbiosis with the trees to get some bonus nutrients during the game. The game can be played competitively against friends and/or family. It can be played cooperatively too, to reach the Victory Points goal. There’re three different difficulty levels to challenge. Even a 2v2 team-game mode is available to play! The first player or team to reach the respective goal on Victory Points is declared winner!
