From the introduction: The PCs are travelling with a caravan undertaking the long and dangerous journey to Raphaelia from Nostapyrax. Bandits begin chasing the caravan and to make matters worse during the confusion the caravan master has been murdered! The players must attempt to escort the remaining wagons the three days journey up into the mountains to the safety of Homley outpost, and attempt to discover the identity of the murderer before they get there (as potentially one or more of the PCs could otherwise be arrested or detained for the crime). This scenario will challenge investigation skills, combat ability and physical problem solving. The rewards for success will be fairly small, but the consequences of failure could be dire!
