Monkeys On Your Back is a card game for the whole family. Defeat the Addicted Monkeys who will try to make you fall into temptation, taking you down on a wrong path and ruining your healthy lifestyle. Get the monkey off your back, survive the temptation and let your opponent fall victim to it. It requires 5 min to learn and a gameplay is about 5 to 25 min. There is a kid friendly Standard Edition and a NSFW Edition for the grown ups. With 1 deck you can play from 2 to 5 players, combine 2 decks (of whatever edition) to play up to 9! A super portable party game that you can bring everywhere to play with your family, friends and colleagues. —description from the designer SETUP: 1- Remove all the ADDICTED MONKEY cards from the deck. 2- Shuffle the remaining cards and hand out 5 of them to each player. 3- Insert enough ADDICTED MONKEYs in the deck in order to be 1 less than the number of players. GAME TURN: 1- Draw 1 card from the deck. You can't avoid drawing in any way. 2- Play all the cards that you want from your hand. Or don't play anything, this is ok too. 3- Once you finished all your actions, pass the turn. There are 3 types of cards than you can draw: 1- ADDICTED MONKEY: You start the game with 3 life points, that will remain untouched until you will have an ADDICTED MONKEY. When you draw an ADDICTED MONKEY a countdown immediately starts; you will lose 1 life point at the end of each turn you take while this card is in your possession. Put the ADDICTED MONKEY on the table on top of your life-counter card, so to show your remaining life points. When your life points reaches 0 you will be eliminated. 2- ACTION CARDS: There are 8 different action cards, with these you can counter the addictions like passing the ADDICTED MONKEY to other players or relocating them in the deck. 3- FIGURE CARDS: You can combine these cards to create powerful combos, together with double-faced action card RALLY-JOLLY. HOW TO WIN: You have to eliminate the other players and remain the last one to survive. If you will fall for an addiction, you will lose. If you not, you will be the winner.
