User Summary Mind Scanners is an psychiatry simulation RPG set in a dystopian future. Players take on the role of a psychiatrist for for the state, called "The Structure." Through analyzing citizens' beliefs and behavior, the player must then diagnose and treat their conditions based on the strict balance of law and order The Structure demands. Time and resource management are paramount to success, and as a "Mind Scanner," players will use a variety of arcade style machines and game modes to "treat" their patients. The game consists of a large cast of unique and interesting characters, and players will often be faced with difficult moral and ethical choices. Depending on a player's choices, the game and story will change. Choosing to aid an underground resistance group's cause or expose them to The Structure will present new benefits and costs that players must weigh as they progress. This emphasis on player choice gives Mind Scanners branching paths and tons of replay value.
