From publisher blurb: Meta adepts know that magic is a product of their experience and their ability to alter its flow, going beyond the paradigm of divine or arcane practices. The meta adept strives to understand the concept and seek to enhance their magic as the situation arises to make it easier to survive in a world where one spell pushing the boundaries can save (or destroy) lives. Power has a price on the physical and mental health of those that seek to master the path of magic that courses through them.
