User Summary: "Mercenaries 2" takes the mix of over the top action & sandbox freedom from the first game into a war-torn Venezula. Just like the first game, the player performs missions for various factions, balancing gaining favour with one vs increased animosity with its rivals. Players are given a wide 'sandbox' to play in with missions rarely having one fixed path to completion.The sequel adds a wider variety of vehicles & munitions, together with online co-operative play over XBL or PSN. A variety of free downloadable content was released, including "player skins" resembling Barak Obama & Sarah Palin. While the original game was published by LucasArts, this sequel is published by Electronic Arts, the new owners of Pandemic.
