Mega Man Battle Network, known as Battle Network Rockman EXE​ in Japan, is a video game developed by Capcom for the Game Boy Advance (GBA) handheld game console. It is the first of the Mega Man Battle Network series of video games. The story takes place in the year 200X, though the setting is a parallel universe in which key events occurred differently from the original incarnation of the title.
