In Medieval Traders, you play the role of a peasant aspiring to become a wealthy merchant and escape the life of the hard-working laborer. The merchant that attains the most wealth and achievements, measured in victory points, is considered to be the winner. By buying resources common to one part of the known world and traveling to sell them in another or by fulfilling trade opportunities in various trade locations, players are able to distinguish themselves amongst their peers and amass the necessary funds to purchase assets of wealth and prestige.
