Build an army, conquer lands, slay dragons and steal taxes! Medi-evil is the fast changing strategy Card game for 3-5 players. Choose to strengthen your defenses or build your army. Collect taxes and protect your land. Send your army out to war to take other players' land and taxes. Beware of dragons, famine and invaders! Each player starts with 2 castles/land and collects taxes on each go. The more castles you have the more taxes you collect. On each players go they go through 2 phases - the 'build' phase and the 'action' phase. The Build Phase During the build phase players can strengthen their defenses or choose to build an army. The Action Phase The action phase requires players to make a choice to send out their army to war or to to draw more cards from the middle deck. Special Cards Sometimes a player is forced to play or draws out one of the special cards - these are the 'Dragon' card, the 'Famine' card and the 'To War' card. Each of these cards has an immediate effect on the player or a player of their choice. Send your army to war! When a player chooses to send out his/her army they can choose to attack any other players castle or fight off dragons. If they win they claim that players land and all taxes. Winning the Game The winner of the game is the player with the most taxes after all the agreed rounds have been played.
