Mechanical Boxed Set

From the Back of the Slipcase "AJ Book, Rouages Players Book, Engrenages Technical Book, Pièces Détachées Rouages include an introductory scenario, which includes eight prefabricated PCs and a few NPCs, information about the Echo Factions, as well as additional information about Orpee, and its "picking" by Inaïs, five new creatures - including the Dream creatures - as well as an introduction to the world of the Shamans, along with a few of their keys... Engrenages gives in-depth information about the Races, the Ecatims (half-Echoes), the Echo Brotherhoods and the Vocations, as well as introducing two new Vocations (the Spectre and the Engineer), five new jobs, and it includes a section entitled "Energies, Materials, and Equipment"... as well as an in-depth look at Subtle Mechanisms and how to use them... Pièces Détachées are much simpler: the concrete application of the theories concerning Subtle Mechanisms, the Engineer and the Spectre's gifts and powers from the first Sphere, the gifts from the second Sphere of the twelve Vocations all together, as well as Errata from the first book - which are sad, but necessary. If you are missing anything at all after this Mechanical Boxed-set, just wait for its continuation..." User Summary This product includes a heavy duty slipcase, three books as indicated above (64 pages each), a double sided map with Kaïnas on one side and a "Close-up of the Enclave" ~ the city of Khaï-Bhek ~ on the other side, and a four-panel Absolute Judge (AJ, i.e. Gamemaster) screen. It has been indicated that this was a limited edition release intended to be followed up as a single hardcover volume.
