Publisher Description YOUR MISSION IS TO EXPLORE THE MYSTERIOUS PLANET MARS! An ancient civilisation once thrived here. You must find as many of the treasured relics from this long lost culture as you can, return them to your rocket ship, and blast off for good old Earth. But watch out - some items you will find may be worthless junk that will have a negative effect on your score. Some of the junk might, however, come in handy during your explorations of the Red Planet. You will encounter a number of Martian beasts and monsters during your travels. Different types of creatures must be handled in different ways. The successful methods may not always be obvious. The bizarre natural forces of Mars will also tend to present obstacles. Also, what may be helpful at one time, may be of no particular effect at another, and actually harmful at a third time. For instance, EATing in front of a Grimph is not recommended. You may define the characteristics of your explorer by setting a value from 1 to 100% for each quality (such as strength, speed etc.), or you can let the computer automatically define your character for you. During the game, each command may be one or two words (such as "LOOK","DROP ROCK","EAT FOOD","WAIT") or a single letter directional move command (N = North, S = South, E = East, and W = West).
