"Libertadores" is a board game divided into areas based on an impulse-based turn system. Players alternate to move several elements, not all, by chronological cards that work as impulse triggers. Libertadores is designed for two players and can be adapted to solitaire mode or several players but not rules yet. Libertadores depicts the wars of independence in Hispanic America during the Napoleonic world context. Players can lead the forces of the Spanish monarchy or be on the side of the Latin-American republics. Libertadores is an asymmetric conflict simulation with operational and strategy elements. It deals with major campaigns and international events, including land warfare (military and insurgent), maritime warfare, and the political-diplomatic conflict. However, the game is of low difficulty and short duration, lasting a maximum of a few hours. The player draws three cards and discards one. With the cards he can conquer regions through a dice roll. The game ends when the winning player can obtain a number of regions.
