The simulation is designed for two players, one with a Muslim fleet and one with a Christian fleet. Both players should be aware that although they primarily represent admirals with dreams of defeating the whole enemy fleet, they also represent subordinate officers who have personal objectives. They must allow for the wishes of individual captains to seek plunder on wrecked ships before their rivals get to it.
