The adventure allows for a mix of investigation, role-playing and combat. It is designed so these can be adjusted as desired: a combat focused group can roll their way to victory while a role-playing focused group can delve into the depths of the story and characters. While the encounters in this adventure are linked into a coherent story, you can easily cannibalize this adventure for standalone encounters that can fit into almost any campaign. The village of Lelathon can also be used in almost any campaign setting and is a suitable “starter town” for lower-level characters.
