From publisher blurb: Lances & Larceny is a dramatic adventure combining elements of espionage and subterfuge with a healthy dose of hack and slash and is written with a party of four 1st-level characters in mind, but can be scaled to fit parties of larger size or higher level by adjusting the individual encounter levels presented. It is recommended that due to the large amount of combats in a relatively short span of time that the party contains a healer of some sort, but if there is not a healer present, the GM may allow the player characters to get a bargain at the local temple on healing potions, etc. In addition, the overall challenge of the module may be lowered further by removing some of the combats, or allowing the party to by-pass them, as some are optional.
