From Introduction: The barren, windy cliffs overlooking the Serlin River are no place for sane people. The skies hang in near-constant overcast but seldom rain. Animal and plant life is all but nonexistent in the area. Despite this, two cities have been built on top of the cliff wall; one by a civilization long lost in history, the other by people dedicated to pilfering the remnants of the past. Five factions fight for control of the current city, each gaining an upper hand when powerful items in the ruins fall into their hands, like Decaber’s Pick. Recently, the discovery of the most powerful artifact found to date, the Stone Soul Gem, has deposed one faction and thrust a new one into power. But explorations continue, and even more powerful artifacts could lie below.
