As in the original game, in La Fallera Calavera 2 players need to find five ingredients to prepare a paella that calms the wrath of la Fallera Calavera. However, this expansion includes new ingredients that the zombie might not like. Both the shrimp of Dénia and the spy mussel provide benefits to players, but may be rejected by the Fallera if she is not in a good mood (please note that the seafood is not included in the traditional valencian recipe for paella). The chorizo, however, will always be rejected by the zombie. No players with the chorizo ​​on their counter can win the game! This expansion includes 52 new cards and a coin that must be flipped in certain situations.
