Just a Taste

From publisher blurb: An antiquarian is killed inside his locked shop, shortly after closing time. Officers from the Bureau of Order promptly arrive on the scene, followed by the victim’s daughter and helper, who rushed there upon hearing the gunshots. Within the shop is the corpse of the antiquarian, Jebedia Bunzel, holding a pistol and surrounded by magical items. What happened? A deal gone bad? A robbery? Or perhaps something darker?
