From publisher blurb: NOTE: Journey [to] the Temple of Exaltation is the opening section of the book Symbar: Mother of Darkness, here presented as a stand-alone booklet – perfect for players who can (and are supposed to) read this section before playing, or for anyone wanting to get a feel for the Forest of Davokar without buying the whole book. “If yesterday was nice and quiet, today was anything but. It’s been a long time since I was this close to death – three times in a single day, no less. If it hadn’t been for (in turn) Ugleg, Harlar and Alagai, yesterday’s entry might well have been my last... ” Journey [to] the Temple of Exaltation is a journal written and illustrated by the expedition leader Vidina during a hazardous journey into the depths of Davokar forest – from the border town of Thistle Hold and… well hopefully, back again.
