Inseln im Nebel is a microgame consisting of 20 cards, showing 10 half islands each. In addition, you will need a timer and something to note the score. Two cards are placed openly on the table, adjacent to each other. Another card is flipped open and the timer is set to 1 minute. Each player tries to think of a position in which to add the new card to the previous card. The goal is to complete as many islands as possible which contain just one kind of animal each. They note their score down. When the timer is up, the player with the highest score places the card and checks whether the score matches their claim. If it does, they get their score plus a bonus of three points, if not, they get no points at all. All other players get a score equal to their bid, without checking. When all cards have been placed in this way, the player with the highest score is the winner.
