From the introduction: In Passing is a roleplaying game about chance encounters at the airport, and what may or may not happen if you stop and talk to a stranger who catches your eye. It is an exploration of the beginnings and ends that are created when two people make eye contact, before anyone has said or done anything. It looks at the stories that are invented whole-cloth in one moment and then lost when the moment passes. It also treats the airport as a place that isn’t quite real, as though on the edge of your actual life, where things may not happen as they should and things you remember may not be true, something I have felt every time I’ve set foot in one.
