These are a set of fairly simple and somewhat light-hearted wargame rules for the “Ancient” period, which I am treating as post-Biblical to circa 1000 AD; beyond this point the rise of the Feudal knight changes both the nature and tempo of warfare, which I feel is better represented as a separate sub-period covering 1000-1500 AD (discuss).
