The goal of the game is, to be the first to set up a fixed number of trading posts and to have no debts as a colonial power. The count of trading posts is recommended by the rules according to the desired game length and number of players, but can be adjusted by the players. During the game, players must build new colonies, manage their national budgets, strategically shift armies, conduct diplomatic negotiations on war and peace, conquer other colonies, defend their own colonies, and plan and conduct their intelligence activity.
