Icy Ruins of Obira

Publisher's blurb: The sweet scent of cherry blossom drifts on the breeze, mingling with that of the rotting timber in this Japan-inspired fishing village. Ice clings to the broken boardwalks of this village where damaged barrels of fish oil are piled high alongside crates of dried, salt-packed fillets which have been mostly raided. Beneath the blossoming tree is a small stone shrine with a stick of incense. It is where the locals used to come to worship; often asking for a blessing on their next catch, or continued safety and peace a blessing which was not granted.
