From the introduction: In a timeline different to our own, the land of dinosaurs was never destroyed, they continued to roam the planet and formed a reluctant coexistence with early humans. The might and size of the dinosaurs combined with the brains and network of humans have created a utopian city within the prehistoric jungles. This city of Icarus is now home to humans and dinosaurs, working together to build machines and contraptions neither would be able to create alone. Survival in this hostile land is difficult, but with an expansive system of communication, the support of their titanic prehistoric beasts, and the power of new industrial contraptions, the citizens of Icarus have proven to be a beacon to the disparate members of humanity. No amount of carnivorous monsters from outside of the city can bring down its majesty.
