Description

From publisher blurb: This is a 48 x 30 inch Battlemap of a Hunter's Lodge , it has Hex, Square and No Overlays, it also includes the VTT files for online play. “What? Were you expecting electricity and plumbing? This is a secluded lodge for real men!” —Robert “The Boar” Shaw Hunters’ Lodge is a single level map of an interior secluded bar and lounge and an exterior dirt road leading to the lodge and surrounding wilderness of deciduous forest and grassland with shrubs. Hunters’ Lodge is intended for use in near modern or fantasy games. Adventure hook for use with this map: Cordially Invited: The adventuring group receives a letter inviting them to come to an exclusive lodge for big game hunters called the Boar and Barrel that promises excitement, hunting, and a competition with a cash prize for the largest animal trophy. The letter is signed by Robert “The Boar” Shaw. On the opposite side of the letter is a map leading to the lodge. Once the group reaches the lodge they are invited to the bar by their host, the talkative Robert Shaw who will tell them old hunting stories all night if they let him. He thinks his nickname is spelled “The Boar” but many snicker at it as “The Bore”. He provides them with free drinks offering tea, beer, wine, or whiskey. There are several other hunting parties here relaxing and getting ready to take part in the competition. The group can converse with them and get a feel for their competitors. When the group is done talking, Robert clinks a glass with a spoon for attention and outlines all the rules for the gentlemanly competition including absolutely no hunting or stealing trophies from the other parties present. As the party dies down, some unfurl sleeping bags and sleep on the floor, while others go outside and sleep in tents, except for a few who got too drunk and now slumber where they passed out. Sometime after midnight, the sound of laughter is heard followed by howls. Then the unmistakable sound of gunfire from a musket. The group awakes to find themselves under attack in the middle of the night!
