Hunter-Prey

From publisher blurb: Although hunting a wounded beast in winter would seem simple enough, the darkness of eternal twilight, combined with the constant fall of fresh snow can mask even the heaviest of trails in minutes. Then, for a cunning ambush predator such as the Ka’kau Puh, well adapted with natural camouflage, the hunt becomes that much the harder. Such, though, are the requirements of many such native “tests of manhood.”
