Description

Hot Sauce by Kenneth Thompson. Ken always has a bag of tricks and this one was in the form of about 20 Taco Bell hot sauce packets. He had a neat domino feel tile laying abstract game in which Ben and Jason tightened a wee bit. In the end it's two things: 1) a full game made out of 7 cards or 2) a rule card that you can take with you to your favorite taco restaurant. Both have their perks. —description from the publisher A 2-4 player game that is played with sauce packets. Shuffle the packets and place them into a pile of face-up and face-down packets. TAke the top 2 packets off the pile and place them in the center of the table, face-down next to each other. Players will take turns drawing a packet from the top of the pile(any one that isn't covered by another packet) and then either 1) placing it in front of them for final scoring, or 2) placing it onto the center of the table so that it connects to a minimum of two other packets. After placing it, the player must flip over a packet that is touching it. The game ends when the last packet is placed. Players score points for the packets in front of them. Each packet is worth 1 point for each face-up matching packet on the center. If there are no matching packets in the center, packets are -1 each. Nuclear Packets do not score for players, but are wild in the center. They count as the type of any face-up packet that they are touching. Released in the March 2016 Board Game of the Month Club $10+ package.
