Description

From publisher blurb: A Complete Guide to Creating New Heritages for Your TinyD6 Game! Welcome to the Heritage Composer for TinyD6! This book is written to be used with TinyD6-based games like Tiny Dungeons: Second Edition (a minimalist fantasy tabletop roleplaying game), Tiny Frontiers: Revised (a minimalist science-fiction tabletop roleplaying game), Tiny Wastelands (a minimalist post-apocalyptic tabletop roleplaying game) or any number of other TinyD6-based games from Gallant Knight Games. The Heritage Composer is like a recipe book or a road map: it provides information and guidance to get you where you need to be, but ultimately relies on you to be the driving force. Regardless of which game you’re playing in, even beyond the ones listed above, you can use the Heritage Composer to create customized versions of existing Heritages that more closely match the type of character you want to play or whole new kinds of Heritages that either fit an idea you want to bring into the game or help flesh out your game-world with unique characters to interact with. In this book you’ll find a comprehensive listing of Traits, arranged by relative power level, to help you design new Heritages — or modify existing ones — for your campaigns. We’ll also provide some guidance on designing multi-trait Heritages (such as dragon hatchlings, felinoid assassins, and others) for players who want a little something extra in their games. Finally, this book will provide you with some optional rules that can enhance gameplay but are in no way essential. We’ll cover such enhancements as Drawbacks (minor inconveniences that can provide useful compensations), Paragon Traits (for those who really want to exemplify their Heritage), guidelines for playing monsters, and more. Examples will be provided throughout this book to give you an idea of how all this can come together.
