From publisher blurb: Heaven’s Collapse is a story roleplaying game set in a fantasy world during a tumultuous war. Players take on the roles of advisors, courtiers, missionaries, and non-combatants trying to survive in the capital city, while occupiers slaughter civilians trapped outside the walls. I’ve provided a basic history and background to the scenario, but also given you enough flexibility to transpose it to your own fantasy RPG kingdom. Slight adjustments to the names and personalities of the characters involved are all it takes to make Heaven’s Collapse work in any fantasy setting. To make game play easy, context about the world and characters is slowly introduced during play though the story cards. When the game starts, little information about the society and characters is provided. As the scenes progress, more and more about the world is revealed: its politics, its major players, and the history that led it to this terrible place and time.
