Harvest Moon DS: Sunshine Islands is a video game that was released on February 21, 2008 in Japan and December 7, 2009 in North America. As the seventeenth installment of the Harvest Moon series, and the fourth available for the Nintendo DS, the game closely resembles Harvest Moon DS: Island of Happiness, as the island setting in Island of Happiness is one of multiple islands in this game.
