Hammerwatch is a fantasy-themed hack and slash adventure game, developed by Jochum Skoglund and Niklas Myrberg. It was mainly inspired by the Gauntlet games. The game was released through Steam Greenlight. The gameplay is similar to Diablo and other hack and slash video games, in that the player(s) are in a castle and must kill hundreds of enemies. Unlike some games of the genre, there are no skill trees in Hammerwatch; instead the player buys skills from traders across the maps.
