Gothnog's Blasphemous Abominations: The Lich

From publisher blurb: Of all the monsters that torment a typical fantasy world, few strike as much terror into the hearts of characters (and players) as the dreaded lich. These entities are highly intelligent and magical undead that have, in most cases, gone through the process of becoming a lich of their own volition. While most liches were once powerful wizards, there are many from other magical traditions and even a few non-casters. These latter examples are often nobles who can afford to hire a morally ambiguous wizard to aid them in their transition. This book explores a variety of lich types, motivations, lairs, and even the possibility of nonevil liches. It also includes plot hooks, sample liches, and the instructions on how a player character could, at their DM’s discretion, attempt to become a lich themselves... assuming that they have enough time, gold, and motivation.
