User Summary God of War: Ghost of Sparta is the sixth game in the God of War series. The game focuses on Kratos in Ancient Greece, and reveals his origins and early days as the new God of War. Gameplay is similar to previous games in the series, with emphasis on timed events, puzzles, and boss fights. New additions to the series include additional melee combat options, an augmented death system, a larger roster of enemies and bosses, and a new branch of the God of War storyline.
