From the preface: This reference work contains information that is solely for the GM of a Quasar campaign whereas the Player's Guide describes the basic game mechanics. The players may eventually learn some of the information in this guide, but only in the course of play. This assumes a good working knowledge of the Quasar Player's Guide and Creature Anthology. This guide is divided into two parts. Part I describes how to referee a game, how the GM should handle specific game situations and provides information not readily available to the PCs. Part II contains various tables used to generate treasures, NPCs, etc. as well as a description of some of the more flashy technology, including alien artifacts.
