Game Info
Gluons is a nuclear bluffing game for 1 to 4 players, ages 10+ and 15 minutes of gameplay. Nucleons, a term that encompasses neutrons and protons, are not elementary particles: both are made up of three quarks. Quarks have a property, called color, that can take three possible values: red (R = red), green (G = green), and blue (B = blue). The quarks must always have one of these three colors and the three quarks that make up a nucleon must necessarily each have one of the three colors, so that the nucleon is neutral. The quarks interact with each other exchanging gluons. In Gluons, players will compete against each other to carry out valid interactions between the 3 quarks, using gluons. They do so by taking turns to play cards face down in the quark. Once all players don't want to play more cards, the resolution phase starts, and players then take turns to reveal one of their played card to check if the interaction is correct. If yes, they exchange the affected quarks, and keep the card as a point. At the end of the game, the player with the most valid interactions will be the winner. The game is expanded with further types of cards, and also has a solo mode. -description from publisher
