GetBackers

From the introduction: In Shinjuku City, you can’t walk five feet without stumbling into someone who’s lost something, or somebody getting ready to take something from someone else. After a while, two friends got together to do something about it. This was the birth of the GetBackers, the strongest retrieval service in the world. The current carriers of the GetBacker name is the duo of Ginji Amano, an energetic boy with the power to generate currents like an electric eel, and Ban Mido, a foul-mouthed genius with the mystical “Evil Eye,” the power to trap opponents in minute-long illusions.
