Ophidian started as a collectible card game in which you control a team of Gladiators. Your enemies are other Gladiator teams…, some of which may even contain some of the same Gladiators that make up your team! Curse those Bio-teknicians and their cloning! On this RolePlaying Game version, you are also may be part of a team of Gladiators, and as with the collectible card game you have at your disposal an Arsenal containing the various resources to which your team may have access: Pumps, Quick-Hits, Minions, and other stuff. In the CCG you win when your team gains enough Victory Points (VPs) or when you generate enough Cheer to incite a riot… in which the spectators rush the field and tear your opponent to pieces! But here you’ll have to apply a number of objectives and ways to gain Victory Points. Don't be intimidated by the size of this rulebook; the game is very easy to learn and play.
