From the introduction: Gestalt Memories is a game about vulnerability, connection, and the barriers we all create to protect ourselves. It is a game that can cover some heavy material and does so in a serious manner. Players take the part of volunteers for an experiment in creating a gestalt consciousness whose minds become linked as a part of that experiment.
