User summary Geowar is a somewhat abstract strategy game played on a quadrant map and involving primarily movement on a turn basis. It was conceived by Kenneth Janowiak, developed by Gary Lorenc, and revised by Dave Ahl. Geowar was published as type-in source code in Creative Computing, Vol. 1, No. 4, May/June 1975. The source code listing is provided in BASIC-Plus; it was assumed users would make whatever minor modifications necessary for individual systems.
