The player controls a hero stuck in a dungeon and the goal is to survive, to explore all dungeons. The game is played in a flick-screen environment, with the player walking from room to room. the rooms might contain dangerous creatures, which are either defeated with simply swinging the sword, or with powerful spells that the player can find. The player starts out equipped with only leather armour and a small sword, and a search spell to search for traps or hidden things in the rooms.
