Either way the gargoyles will be not too pleased to find adventurers within their sacred caves. From the Introduction: The granite hillside looks like a large hive. These ancient caves predate even the stone giants that once dominated the area. The caves have been home to gargoyles for over 1000 years. The gargoyles are aware of the party.
