User Summary Galacta is a similar to the space shooter game, Galaga, and was designed for DOS. The player starts with 7 ships and sets out to destroy the alien hosts that have encroached upon the human solar system. Powerups are available on occasion, including laser upgrades and shields. Alien ships fly in tight formations and fire with a regularity that is difficult to avoid.
