Funerary Cannibals & Others

Publisher's blurb: One of the quickest ways to start building cultures for your setting is to take inspiration from actually-existing cultures. What do you do when you don't want to crib off the same culture cultures that everyone else has used a hundred times before? Essential Ethnographies offers the convenience of building from preexisting cultures and the flexibility and novelty of working with cultures that are less familiar to your players or readers. Whether it’s half-elves inspired by the oldest inhabitants of Europe, humans living in the coldest north (or south!), ogres that see their cannibalism as an act of benevolence, or aliens with a kind of ritualized policing, this series aims to make your job easy.
